Record Requests/FTM Requests
Public Records

The Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training provides access to constituent records through the DPSST Information Records Inquiry System (IRIS).  Data contained is updated nightly and is intended to assist DPSST constituents and members of the public by providing 24/7 access to commonly requested information. 

PLEASE NOTE: The information contained in IRIS is reflective of the information received by DPSST. Information may not be a complete or accurate reflection of an officer’s, provider’s or investigator’s training, employment or rank.
For public records requests beyond what IRIS provides, please email dpsst.records@state.or.us. Media representatives, attorneys or other non criminal justice entities requesting records, please include company information for billing purposes. 
NOTE: DPSST may charge fees for recovering actual costs of staff time, material and media and postage for satisfying public records requests pursuant to DAS Policy 107-01-160 and OAR 259-025-0000.
DPSST assess fees for staff time using the following fee schedule:
$25.00/HR for Clerical (Administrative Specialists/Assistants and Office Specialists)
$40.00/HR for Managerial (Program Managers and Public Information Officers)
$75.00/HR for Professional (IT, HR, and High-Level Analysts)
Advance payment of any estimated fees may be required prior to the release of requested information.

For Corrections, Police Officers, Oregon Liquor Control Commission, Parole and Probation, Telecommunicators and Emergency Medical Dispatchers FTM's, please e-mail FTM Requests . Please specify which manual you are requesting.

NOTE: Agencies may combine the DPSST Field Training Manual and their agency-specific manual after an equivalence review has been completed by the DPSST Training Compliance Program.
