DAS provides up to date information for state employees regarding temporary interuptions of employment. PLEASE NOTE: Information related to absences related to COVID 19 in the DAS toolkit is general for state employees; OED specific information about entering leave absences related to COVID-19 are available in the Leave and Time section of this page.

During this time we are making every effort to allow employees in positions that are suitable for remote work to do so, if we have the neccessary equipment and resources available. Employees should make remote work requests through their supervisor. Supervisors should contact their HRBP for assistance as needed.

Join us for a 90 minute session to help you transition to remote work. During this session we will discuss how to set up an effective virtual workspace and give a peer review of your current workspace. You'll learn tips and tricks for structuring your day including creating work rituals, minimizing distractions and maintaining productivity in a home office environment. We'll talk about how to maintain connections with your manager and team.

Using Support Assist Button: A Support Assist Button is also loaded on all OED laptops which will also connect employees to OED Helpdesk support queue when connected to the internet.
