The Employment Advisory Council meets quarterly with department leadership to discuss a variety of topics including, but not limited to: unemployment insurance trust fund solvency; program policy; legislation; and, funding.
When the Legislature is in session, there is an additional monthly teleconference to update members on legislation. It is helpful if prospective members have an understanding of the legislative process.
