File Specifications
IMPORTANT: Please review the example tab in each file format to ensure your file matches the example format. In addition, make sure your column headings are labeled appropriately to avoid errors when importing your file.
Note-Reporting Zero Versus Blanks:
What is the difference between entering a zero or a blank in a payroll report field?
Zeroes and blanks have two different values in payroll reporting. Entering a zero value means you are subject, but had zero payroll for that program. A blank means you are not subject to that program. Entering a zero when you are not subject will cause a conflict in your reporting and a letter of liability to be sent to you from that agency and/or program.
