UI Modernization Project Update

December 2020

We're one step closer to a new UI solution!

As a reminder, Thursday, December 3rd, DAS issued the Notice of Intent to Award (NITA) a contract to FAST Enterprises for the Unemployment Insurance solution. Aggrieved Proposers had until 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2020 to submit a protest. No protest was submitted and we are now able to move forward with final contract negotiations. Our team has resumed contract negotiations preparation work with DAS Procurement and we're looking forward to discussions with the selected vendor!

While the NITA opens the door to begin negotiating a contract, we know that we still have a long way to go before we have a signed contract and can begin the implementation of a new system.

Welcome new MODists

We've added a new face to our team, and others have shifted roles.

The goal of our Modernization Program is to replace the aging computer systems that support receipt of unemployment insurance taxes, payment of unemployment insurance benefits, and delivery of employment services.
Further, this effort will transform business processes to take advantage of opportunities and benefits available through new system capabilities and better meet the needs of our customers - Oregonians and Oregon businesses.
