Welcome to March's edition of the UI Modernization Project Update. With COVID-19 dramatically impacting the world around us, the collective charge to support our state’s diverse people and businesses has perhaps never been felt more deeply. Over the past several weeks our team has been honored to support various other divisions in our agency’s rapid response to support Oregonians and Oregon businesses. While the work toward modernization will continue, we will be carefully considering how we invest our time and efforts. Here are a few things we've been working on the past month.... UI solution Request for Proposal round 3 completeWe are happy to announce that the two vendors moving forward to Round 4 are Deloitte and Fast. We want to extend a sincere thank you to all the advisors and every other person who contributed in any way in the Round 3 vendor demonstration activities. It was a commitment of a significant amount of time and effort, and we appreciate every bit of it and do not take the time you invested lightly. The demonstrations provided an opportunity to: - view the vendors’ system functionality
- take a deeper look at the technology (including the flexibility of the system)
- observe the proposed teams in action

We are adapting our planned in-person visits to virtual meetings and are still looking forward to the opportunity to learn from and ask questions of people who've worked with the vendor's solution and teams, learn about their ongoing maintenance and support, and hear about their customers' experiences. welcome our new teammates We’re extremely excited to welcome these fine folks to the project business team! Their experience and energy has already been invaluable to the project and they've set an amazing example by their willingness to pick up work in many different areas, particularly, and as we flex to support the agency and ultimately, our customers. ...and there's more to comeUI Project positions - Technical analysts Program positions - Business analysts - Project managers Many of our upcoming positions will be competitively filled, so if you are looking for a challenge and a chance to help create the future, keep an eye out; more information is coming soon! quick links We've had a few people ask about our MODist Cookie Socials.
