​​Jennifer Purcell, North Coast Region Coordinator

Jennifer Purcell joined the Governor’s Regional Solutions Team in March 2019. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and is currently pursuing an Executive Master of Public Administration at Portland State University’s Hatfield School of Government. Jennifer brings state and local government experience to her position with Regional Solutions. Jennifer is also a former small business owner, with 20 years’ experience providing marketing, communications, strategic planning, and organizational development services.

Jennifer lives on the north Oregon coast with her husband, having raised three children in the Neah-Kah-Nie School District. Jennifer is active on many community boards and currently serves as an elected member of the Tillamook Bay Community College Board of Education.​

First elected to the Oregon House of Representatives in 2001, Senator Johnson has served in the Oregon Senate since 2005. She is a licensed commercial pilot and founder of Transwestern Aviatio​n. Sen. Johnson has served on numerous local, regional and national boards and commissions, including the OHSU Foundation, Doernbecher Children's Hospital, the OPB Foundation, and is a former Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.​​​​​​​
Mary Jones has ownership in and serves in various roles for the Nestucca Ridge Family of Companies. Mary has excellent leadership skills, strong financial knowledge, marketing ability, and property development abilities.  ​
Paul Langner oversees the intermodal operations for Teevin Bros in their Rainier, Eugene, Albany, and Umatilla facilities. Prior to coming to Teevin Bros, Mr. Langner worked for the Port of St Helens and is a 23-year veteran of the US Coast Guard, having served in 13 duty stations in eight states. He has served on the ConnectOregon rail and marine modal review committees.​​​​
Suzanne Weber was elected as mayor of the City of Tillamook in 2010. She entered politics in 2000 as an appointee to the city council which she served for 8 years. Subsequently she was elected Mayor. Suzanne actively participates in several organizations vital to the health of Tillamook. They include COLPAC and NWACT on a regional level and Year of Wellness Taskforce, the Tillamook County Mayor's Coalition, and the Economic Development Council on a county level. She is a member of the Tillamook Urban Renewal Agency and acts as the council's liaison to the Tillamook City Planning Commission.​
Commissioner Magruder is a lifelong resident of Clatskanie and a third generation farmer with more than two decades of public service involving Columbia County business, government, and non-profits. Magruder was elected as county commissioner in November 2016. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Willamette University and a Master’s Degree from Syracuse University.

Kurt Englund is the President of the Englund Marine Group which consists of seven coastal retail locations, three wholesale warehouses, and a marine safety shop. He resides in Astoria, which is also home to the company headquarters.​​​
