The Governor’s Marketplace is intended for all business owners who are interested in learning about resources available through all stages of business ownership. We bring agencies with public contracting opportunities, solutions to sustain and retain employees as they grow, access to capital, and businesses who have interest in services available to them as they go through all stages of business.

Annually, the state of Oregon purchases billions of dollars of goods and services. As directed by the Governor of Oregon, state agencies are seeking minority-owned, woman-owned, emerging small businesses and businesses owned by service-disabled Veterans to contract with for a wide variety of goods and services. The opportunities are much greater than one can imagine as the state purchases everything from blueberries to zebra food, to cupcakes and coffee for agency meetings and events. This is in addition to the construction, highway, and other goods and services the state purchases.

The Governor’s Marketplace Conference is the best way to connect with state agencies, along with cities, counties and other public entities that are joining in on all efforts to create equity in public procurement.
