Statewide, OR—A public meeting of the Oregon Environmental Quality Commission is scheduled on Thursday, May 7, 2020. The commission is the rulemaking and policy board for the state's Department of Environmental Quality.

When: Thursday, May 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

How: The meeting will be conducted by teleconference, and people may connect using the Zoom platform for audio and video over computer or by telephone for audio-only connection.

About the commission
The Oregon Environmental Quality Commission is a five-member panel appointed by the governor of Oregon for four-year terms to serve as the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality's policy and rulemaking board. In addition to adopting rules, the commission also establishes policies, issues orders, judges appeals of fines or other DEQ actions and appoints the DEQ director.
