Salem, OR—SALEM, Oregon— The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department’s All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Advisory Committee will meet Nov. 30 to review potential legislative bills, online course changes, sound-level issues and other program updates.
This will be a hybrid meeting with options to attend in person or via Zoom Webinar, which is open to the public to join as attendees. In the event that an in-person meeting is no longer feasible, the meeting will move to online only in a Zoom Webinar.
The potential legislative bills include requiring an ATV Safety Education Card for Class IV ATVs and to modify the definition of Class IV vehicles to better fit with industry standards.
The ATV Advisory Committee meeting will begin at 9 a.m. The full agenda and schedule will be posted soon.

The ATV Grant Program provides funding statewide for All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) recreation. Grant funds come from ATV user permit sales and a percentage of gasoline tax money. More information about the state ATV program is available at www.OregonATV.gov
