Salem, OR—Governor Kate Brown today submitted a list of state board and commission appointments to the Oregon Senate for confirmation. The Senate Committee on Rules is scheduled to consider the nominations in September.
“I appreciate the willingness of all these nominees to help us build a safer, stronger, just, and equitable Oregon for all. Since I took office, I have made it a priority to ensure that Oregon’s boards and commissions represent the diversity of our state,” said Governor Brown. “Over the years, I have nominated individuals with a wide range of life experiences and backgrounds to address the issues facing Oregon. Going forward, I encourage all Oregonians with an interest in serving our great state to apply for future vacancies on boards and commissions.”
