The Oregon Department of Education's Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (OEDI) is pleased to announce the release of the Request of Information for Statewide Suicide Prevention, Intervention, & Postvention Services & Supports.
OEDI is seeking information from organizations and service providers with information about efforts currently underway or that could begin July 1, 2023 if funded. These efforts coudl include trainings, technical assistance, toolkits, or anything else that assists schools implementing suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention efforts with an equity lens, particularly focused on the focal groups included in Adi's Act.
Responses can be in any format including documents, presentations, or any others that work for the team responding.
The information collected will be used to assist with the development of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the 2023-2025 biennium, which will result in a new contract for suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention supports for schools through the School Safety and Prevention System.
