Training options

Orientation training is available with your local ODHS Child Welfare (CW) office or through self-guided, online sessions

With your local Child Welfare office

Attend Orientation training in-person or through a live video-stream presentation.

  • This option is highly encouraged since it gives you the opportunity to meet a foster home certifier and other potential resource parents and ask questions in the moment.
  • By attending Orientation with your local branch, you will learn about the required forms and assessment process and also get information about local processes and resources.
