We've received word from consultant partners about an error message when opening .dgn files in ODOT's ProjectWise Explorer v10.00.03.434 and v10.00.03.453.
Issue Overview
This error is due to a reported defect with OpenRoads Designer v10.10, MicroStation CONNECT v10.16 and ProjectWise Explorer client versions greater than 10.00.03.299.
User Action Required
If you are experiencing this issue, then please submit a Bentley Service Request.
Interim Option
In the short term, you may perform a managed export on the file that you need to edit and save the export to a local folder.
Launch MicroStation CONNECT – choosing ODOT_CONNECT as the WorkSpace and ODOT as the WorkSet. This may re-brand the files from using a K##### WorkSet – but the ODOT WorkSet is identical and will give you access to the ODOT DGNLIBs, ribbon workflows, element templates, levels, cell libraries and custom line styles. At the end of each day, the file that you were editing should be imported using ProjectWise Explorer.
