Getting to Know Workday Learning

ODOT and all state agencies are transitioning to Workday Learning as our agency learning management system on June 16, 2021. This means we will be using Workday Learning to enroll in in-person or virtual classroom courses, to complete online training, and to manage training requirements and completions.

Check out some of the user features you'll have available in the new system.

You will login to Workday and click on the Learning application on your home dashboard.

On this page, you can:

  • Look at your learning transcript.
  • See upcoming learning you're enrolled in.
  • Join virtual courses on the day of the course.
  • Drop your course enrollment.
  • Print course completion certificates.

Enrolling in a Course

Enrolling in a course is easy. Once you're on the course page, click the Enroll button. It'll take you to a list of offerings (dates and times) to choose from. Course contact information will either be in the description or in the right column.

Creating a Learning Path

In Workday Learning, when you come across a course that you're interested in, you can save it to your My Library to access it in the future. You can even create different Learning Paths that might have different goals to save your courses to. This could be especially helpful for your professional development.

When you're on the page of a course that you want to save to a Learning Path, just click on the Save button in the bottom of the right column.
