SRTS Competitive Infrastructure Grant Program


The ODOT Safe Routes to School Competitive Infrastructure Grant Program runs in two year cycles with the first round of funds awarded in 2019. Cities, counties, tribes, transit districts, ODOT, and other road authorizes are encouraged to apply for projects that address barriers for students walking and biking to school. Read the documents and resources below to learn more about project eligibility for the Competitive Construction Grants. Cities, Counties, Tribes, transit districts, ODOT, and other road authorities are encouraged to apply when specific eligibility for the Competitive Construction grants are met. See below resources to check eligibility.

The Competitive Construction Grant Program is accepting letters of intent from April 1 - June 15, 2020 and is accepting applications June 1 - August 31, 2020.
 

Please follow these steps:​


Step 1: Read the Program Guidelines and FAQ to determine project eligibility, and watch an informational webinar.

Step 2 (opens April 1, 2020): Applicants are required to fill out the online Letter of Intent (LOI) by 11:59 p.m. on June 15, 2020.

Step 3 (opens June 1, 2020): Submit the online application by 11:59 p.m. on August 31, 2020. Attach the required signed signature pages:
