Oregon Emergency Preparedness Workshop

Oregon Office of Emergency is excited to host our sixth annual Oregon Emergency Preparedness Workshop, March 18 – 22, 2019, at The Riverhouse on the Deschutes, in Bend, Oregon. This workshop provides participants with training and information on programs, current issues, leassons learned, and best practices related to all phases of emergency management. It also offers several days of networking opportunities. For the fourth year in a row, we are co-presenting the event with our partners at the Oregon Health Authority.
2019 Theme: Redefining Emergency Management in Oregon
Dates: March 19 – 21, with Statewide TEPW on March 18, 2019 and optional trainings on March 22, 2019
Location: The Riverhouse on the Deschutes, Bend, Oregon
Audience: Tribal, county, city, special district, state and federal emergency management, public safety and health preparedness staff, DHS/FEMA preparedness grant recipients, non-profit and private sector partners with a role in preparedness, response, recovery, and resilience.
Registration Fee: Full conference attendee - $50 +fees; One day attendee - $20/day +fees
Meals Included: The following meals are included with registration
  • Tuesday – breakfast & lunch
  • Wednesday – breakfast, lunch & dinner
  • Thursday – breakfast & lunch
Lodging: Attendees are responsible for their own lodging. There is a conference block of rooms at The Riverhouse, negotiated at the GSA of $113/nt +taxes & fees. There is an additional conference block of rooms at the RedLion (across the street from The Riverhouse), negotiated at $79/nt +taxes & fees.
