Oregon Emergency Preparedness Workshop

Oregon Department of Emergency Management is excited to announce the return of the annual Oregon Emergency Preparedness Workshop, Oregon Prepared, during the week of March 20th, 2023, at Sunriver Resort, in Sunriver, Oregon. This is our 7th workshop, annual until 2020 due to COVID. This workshop provides participants with training and information on programs, current issues, lessons learned, and best practices related to all phases of emergency management. It also offers several days of networking opportunities. 
 
Dates: March 21-23, 2023, Pre-Workshop Activities on Monday, March 20th
Out of an abundance of caution due to the incoming weather, the Oregon Prepared conference will end after the lunch session on Wednesday, March 22. If you are currently at the conference please plan to depart in a way and time that is most comfortable for your travel.
 
Location: Sunriver Resort, Sunriver, Oregon
 
Audience: Tribal, county, city, special district, state and federal emergency management, public safety and health preparedness staff, DHS/FEMA preparedness grant recipients, non-profit and private sector partners with a role in preparedness, response, recovery, and resilience.
 
Registration Fee: free
 
 
Meals Included: The following meals are included with registration
  • Tuesday – breakfast & lunch
  • Wednesday – breakfast, lunch & dinner
  • Thursday – breakfast & lunch
 
Lodging: Attendees are responsible for their own lodging. There is a conference block of rooms at Sunriver Resort, negotiated at the GSA of $120/nt +taxes & fees. To make reservations at the resort, contact the hotel directly at 855-420-8206.
