Established in 2005, Coraggio Group is an Oregon-based management consultancy located in Portland. Drawing upon our experience working across multiple industry sectors, we use best practices in management, organizational design and continuous quality improvement methodologies to analyze and understand our client’s challenges at a systemic level. We work with health care leadership teams to tackle a wide range of challenges that surface as a result of the industry’s ongoing transformation. We help them think through their internal organizational and community strategies, address complex system change initiatives and support better engagement with their stakeholders and the communities they serve.

Susan Kerosky 

Susan Kerosky, Principal

With an emphasis on helping our clients to capture opportunities and adapt to new business environments, Susan helps leaders think through critical strategic decisions and implement complex organizational change initiatives. As a self-declared “transformation junkie,” she has led large-scale transformation efforts as an internal corporate leader and as a trusted advisor to clients across a wide range of industry sectors. During Susan’s career, she has provided expert guidance and counsel to CEOs and senior leaders, helping organizations to achieve new levels of effectiveness through new work processes and systems, culture transformations and by creating high performing teams.

Susan has more than 25 years of experience in finance, operations management and organizational development. She spent more than seven years as an internal change leader at Nike, most recently as the lead for Nike’s Global Procurement organization where transformation efforts under her leadership quadrupled the value delivered to the company. Susan has a business degree from Purdue University and is a certified management accountant. She is also certified in financial management.

Laura Brennan 

Laura Brennan, Consultant

Laura’s area of expertise is health care accessibility and equity. She has worked at a variety of organizations focused on various aspects of community health and health care in Oregon and nationally, including community benefits, education and training for community coalitions, public policy and community affairs. In her past role as community affairs manager for CareOregon, she worked with executive management and external stakeholders in the strategic planning and development of CCOs, and she served as a liaison to engage other organizations in health improvement initiatives.

Previously in her career, Laura was executive director for PacificSource Charitable Foundation and served in multiple agencies for the State of Oregon providing health care policy research, analysis and recommendations for the Governor’s office and state legislature. Laura has a master’s degree in social work from Portland State University and in 2008 was identified in the school of social work’s “Featured Alumni.” Among her other recognitions are a Community Innovator award and the President’s Award both from the Oregon Public Health Association, and a policy leadership award from the Oregon Community Health Collaborative Coalition. She is a past president of Oregon Public Health Association.
