Health information technology, organizational development, primary care transformation
Amy Fellows is an experienced health care and health care information technology (HIT) professional with 15 years of experience in health care and HIT efforts. Amy was hired as the third employee at OCHIN, Inc. in 2000. At OCHIN she was a project manager and director of Epic installation services for electronic health record installations at safety net clinics, federally qualified health centers, school-based health centers and public health departments in multiple states. In June 2010, she started a consulting business, Fellows Health Connect, LLC (Previously Cooper and Associates, LLC). Amy has worked on the State of Oregon's health information exchange project, Medicaid Health Incentive project, and assisted the Coalition of Community Clinics, Project Access NOW, the Oregon Health Care Quality Corporation (Q-Corp) and provided technical assistance for behavioral health/primary care integration. Amy is an adjunct assistant professor teaching health information management and organizational behavior in health systems at Portland State University’s Mark O. Hatfield School of Government.
Amy is the executive director of We Can Do Better whose mission is to create opportunities for nonpartisan civic education and engagement, bringing people together who share the values of better health care and health for all.
