Joy Mauldin is a licensed clinical psychologist, operating in the capacity as an integrative behavioral health provider and supervisor at West Hills Healthcare Clinic. Joy is currently developing the Integrative Behavioral Health Program at West Hills, which has a training component of doctoral students. At West Hills Dr. Mauldin is also having the students provide a much-needed service of neurological, cognitive, achievement and personality assessment, which will help patients find diagnostic clarity and potentially receive much needed services. In 2013, she was tasked to develop the program at Childhood Health Associates of Salem. The program was successful, and in 2015 OHA filmed a virtual site visit as a resource for other clinics (view virtual site visit video).
Joy served as the integrative behavioral health lead for Marion and Polk counties. Joy also sat on several county groups as well as groups for Childhood Health Associates of Salem (CHAOS): quality and clinical advisory panel, obesity work Group, ACEs study and quality committee. Joy developed pathways to care for childhood obesity, autism and ADHD.
Currently, Joy is working on a county quality advisory community to help programs grow and develop within her clinic as well as other health systems in the county. She has also developed PPI Consulting Firm, which consults with health, education and religious systems to help them fulfill their mission as a system. She has worked with large health systems to better streamline their behavioral health programs and support their behavioral health clinicians.
Joy holds a doctorate degree in clinical psychology from George Fox University. In her spare time, she enjoys travel and wine tasting.
