Compass Modernization Portfolio

Compass Modernization Portfolio

The goal of Compass Modernization is to improve Oregon’s behavioral health system by ensuring data are integrated and meaningfully connected, as well as ensuring the information shared meets the needs of providers, state staff, and federal partners.

 The Compass Modernization Portfolio includes several projects, each with the same central priorities:

  • Focusing on continuity of care;
  • Improving outcomes;
  • Enhancing data quality;
  • Breaking down silos;
  • Streamlining reporting; and,
  • Reducing administrative burden.

Modernization will allow us to better assess treatment outcomes, understand trends, focus on equity and improve the lives of Oregonians.
