Choose your own path to better health with the tips and resources below.

Tactics for managing everyday pressures

  • Live your values — step back and consider what's most important to you and channel your energy there.
  • Choose simplicity — you can't do everything, be everything, or have everything. Choose to limit things that unnecessarily complicate your life.
  • Slow down and manage your time — learning how to manage your time, activities, and commitments can make your life easier, less stressful, and more meaningful.
  • Find time for the things you love — develop a schedule that gives you time for relaxation, family, friends, and fun.

Anxiety and panic disorders
Everyone feels worried, anxious, or nervous sometimes. But when anxiety affects your daily life, it's time to take action. You can use breathing exercises to help you feel less anxious and more in control. If that's not enough, additional treatment may be needed, including counseling, medication, or both.

Panic attacks can be scary and so bad that they get in the way of your daily activities. The good news is that treatment can help most people have fewer symptoms or even stop the attacks.
