How to Report your Data
The Oregon Health Authority asks your assistance in collecting information about where Stanford self-management programs are offered across Oregon and who is participating. This information helps track statewide successes and identifies additional training, funding, and other support needs.
All data on Stanford self-management programs is collected and reported through the Oregon Compass online data system.
Books for Data
Due to changes in grant funding, as of January 2016 OHA is no longer able to provide program books to Stanford program delivery organizations in return for data. Here are some ideas from local program coordinators to help stretch your organization’s book budget:
- Start a lending library
- Ask participants to share their book with a buddy
- Explain that books and CDs are on loan until the end of the workshop, when completers get to keep them
- If you have older versions of the book, use those for program promotion
- Consider charging a book fee at registration (always provide a scholarship option)
