Environmental Health Registration Board - Waste water specialists - Continuing Education

Twenty (20) continuing education hours every year

To maintain registration, a waste water specialist must complete a minimum of twenty (20) continuing education (CE) hours every registration year. For the current CE requirements, please see Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR)  338-020-0030.

Documentation, attestation and audit

Documentation supporting compliance with CE requirements must be maintained by the registrant for a period of two (2) years following registration renewal and be provided to the Health Licensing Office upon request.

Each registrant shall document compliance with the CE credit requirements through attestation on the registration renewal application.

Pre-approval of courses

To obtain pre-approval of CE courses provided by organizations not already approved in rule, please submit a completed "Request for Pre-approval of Continuing Education Course" form in addition to all the required supporting documentation listed on the instructions page to hlo.info@state.or.us, or call (503) 373-2088 with your CE related questions.
