Board of Licensed Dietitians - Proposed Rule Change

Tuesday, September 6, 2022

The Board of Licensed Dietitians under the Health Licensing Office has filed proposed rules with the Oregon Secretary of State. The proposed rule language clarifies the use of “inactive" and “expired" when referring to licenses and increases the continuing education documentation retention period from two to four years. The change is being proposed so "documentation retention" matches the continued education “carried forward" language in Oregon Administrative Rule 834-050-0000(2).

The proposed rules will be published in the September 2022, Oregon Bulletin.

You are invited to review the proposed rules and submit comments from September 1, 2022, through 9 a.m. on September 28, 2022. To submit your comments by way of email, sent to Anne Thompson at: anne.p.thompson@dhsoha.state.or.us.

Written comments can also be submitted by way of postal mail to:
Attn: Anne Thompson
Health Licensing Office

Comments will not be accepted, nor considered, if received after 9 a.m. on September 28, 2022. For more information regarding this proposed rule, please call Anne Thompson at (503) 509-4775, or email anne.p.thompson@dhsoha.state.or.us
