Temporary Rules for Out-of-State Respiratory Therapists

​The Respiratory Therapist and Polysomnographic Technologists Licensing Board, under the Health Licensing Office (HLO), has filed temporary rules with the Oregon Secretary of State good from April 1 through September 27, 2022. The temporary rule language allows respiratory therapists with out-of-state licenses, who were authorized by the HLO to practice respiratory therapy during the declared state of emergency, to continue to practice for 90-days from the date the declared state of emergency ends.

The temporary rules will be published in the April 2022, Oregon Bulletin.
