Proposed Educational Requirements Rule Change for Residential Care Facility Administrators

​The Long Term Care Administrators Board under the Health Licensing Office has filed proposed rules with the Oregon Secretary of State. The proposed language adds additional educational options to qualify for Residential Care Facility Administrator licensure to align with 2021 House Bill 2​970. The proposed rules will be published in the July 2021, Oregon Bulle​tin

You are invited to review the proposed rules and submit comments from July 1 to July 28, 2021, by 9 a.m.

Although the permanent administrative rules are not scheduled to become effective until September 15, 2021, the Health Licensing Office is currently accepting all of the educational qualification options as listed in the proposed rules.​
