Medicaid EHR Incentive Program

Oregon’s Medicaid EHR Incentive Program offers eligible providers and hospitals financial incentives to adopt, implement or upgrade to certified Electronic Health Record (EHR) technology and become meaningful users of the EHR technology. EHRs can help improve the quality and coordination of care across settings and provide patients with immediate access to their complete and secure health records.

Program Year 2020 Update:

We are currently reviewing 2020 attestations. We will contact you if additional information is needed. The deadline to attest for 2020 is March 31, 2021. For more information about Program Year 2020, please visit the Program Year 2020 page. 

Program Year 2021: 

The attestation period for Program Year 2021 is open. The submission deadline has been extended to October 15, 2021. Information about specific requirements can be found on our Program Year 2021 page. 

$210 million since 2011

Since 2011, we have facilitated more than $210 million in federal incentive payments to 3,849 eligible professionals and 60 eligible hospitals in support of adoption and meaningful use certified electronic health record technology.
