In-person visitation to resume on Junction City campus

Friday, February 25, 2022

On Wed., Feb. 23, Lane County’s reported seven-day average test positivity rate was 7.8%, which is within the CDC’s “moderate” range. As a result, starting Wed., March 2, in-person visits for vaccinated patients will resume in Junction City.

The process for in-person visitation is as follows:

  • Appointments must be scheduled through the Reception Center beginning on Monday, Feb. 28.
  • Visitors can schedule one visit per week for up to one hour at a time.
  • Vaccination status of patients is to be verified by reception.
  • Each patient is allowed two adult visitors at a time and up to four children per family. However, child visits are scheduled separately from adult visits.
  • Patients and visitors must wear masks and maintain physical distancing during the visit. A brief hug or handshake at the beginning and end of the visit is OK.
  • Consuming food and drinks during a visit is not allowed.
  • If the café is open, visitors may purchase grab-and-go items for their loved ones at the end of the visit, which patients can take to their units.

Note, virtual visits continue to be an option for all patients.

In-person visits on the Salem Campus will resume when the seven-day average test positivity rate in Marion County is below 8. On Feb. 23, it was at 9.4%. In Umatilla County (where the Pendleton Cottages are located), it was at 11.7%.
