Military Spouse Licensure

In 2013, HB 2037 created a program to license military spouses and domestic partners in a more expedited manner.  Since the passage of that legislation, staff at the OMB have worked enthusiastically to develop the new program.  The rules for each professional group are provided below.

If you are the spouse or domestic partner of a member of the Armed Forced of the United States who has been transferred to Oregon under his or her active duty orders, please contact the Board for assistance with applying for licensure.  Qualified applicants may submit copies of some documents in lieu of primary source verification, and the Board will obtain other primary source verification on behalf of the qualified applicants.  Please see the applicable rule for more details.

For more information on licensure for military spouses and domestic partners or for questions on the status of your application, please contact the Licensing Call Center:

9 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 3 PM (Pacific Standard Time)
Phone: 971-673-2700

The Board looks forward to receiving your application and assisting you with the licensure process.
