Billeting Overview

Rees Training Center offers a variety of billeting options to meet the needs of individuals and units. All billeting facilities are climate-controlled and WiFi-capable, ensuring a comfortable and connected environment for guests.

Select facilities are also equipped with on-demand hot water systems to enhance convenience and efficiency.

Access to all billeting facilities is secured through electronic locking systems and event-specific programmable key cards, providing enhanced security and controlled entry for all occupants throughout their stay.

Starships Open Bay Barracks

Constructed and operational as of 2023, the Starships Open Bay Barracks at Raymond Rees Training Center are multi-level facilities designed to support large-unit lodging needs. Each completed structure has the capacity to house up to 164 personnel.

Currently, two Starship barracks are operational, with a third under construction and additional facilities in the planning phase. Each building consists of:

• Eight individual open bays, each outfitted with bunk-style accommodations and capable of housing up to 20 personnel per bay
• Dedicated latrine and shower facilities for each bay, ensuring convenience and hygiene

Additionally, each facility includes:

• Two private leadership rooms, each with a two-person capacity and equipped with individual latrine and shower facilities
• A multi-use common area, which can be configured as a lounge, entertainment space, or classroom. This area features:
• Large-screen TV
• Tables and chairs for instructional use
• Lounge chairs and couches
• Beverage and snack vending machines

The Starship Barracks provide a highly functional, scalable solution for unit billeting and are ideal for accommodating large training groups in a consolidated environment.

Building 5030 – Dormitory-Style Barracks

Originally constructed in the 1940s to serve as troop housing, Building 5030 was fully renovated and reactivated for operational use in 2019. This multi-level barracks facility is comprised of two distinct wings, connected by a centrally located breezeway, and is capable of accommodating between 40 and 52 personnel per floor.

Unlike standard Starship and Duplex configurations, Building 5030 features dormitory-style quarters designed to house 2, 4, or 6 service members per room. Each billet is outfitted with bunk-style sleeping arrangements, individual desks, and wall-locker-style wardrobes to support day-to-day operations.

Sanitation facilities on each floor consist of communal latrines and individual shower stalls. Additional unisex and female-designated latrine and shower facilities are located on the ground level. Each wing is further supported by two female-specific latrine/shower units, two laundry rooms, and a centrally positioned common recreation area situated within the breezeway.

Building 5030 is mission-ready and configured to support sustained occupancy in accordance with installation housing standards.

Building 5005 and 5082 – Coming Soon

Building 5005 and 5082 are currently under development and will be added to our billeting inventory upon completion. A full facility description, photos, and room details will be provided once the building is available for guest use.
