Electric and Water Upgrades
The campground’s 57 old 100-amp RV stands and hose bibs were replaced with new 200-amp ParkMate RV stands. The new ParkMates are equipped with specially ordered shrouds with hose bibs mounted at 24 inches high. The manufacturer obtained UL listing for the new shroud design and can now readily provide ParkMates with hose bibs at this height.
The entire project was completed as a design-build contract based on performance specifications and plans. Using horizontal directional drilling, the contractor completed the work without using junction boxes.  Two existing electrical transformers were upgraded with new pad mounted transformers and all electrical equipment were mounted on the back of kiosks. The kiosks were upgraded with fluorescent lights placed on a time clock and photocell.
