    Historic cemeteries commission seeks new members
    The commission is seeking one member who can bring the perspective of one of the nine Federally recognized tibes in Oregon and one person from the coast to serve. The term is four years. Cemetery Preservation Workshop in Corvallis

The free workshop will address marker assessment, cleaning, leveling, and repair. It will be October 12, 10 am - 4 pm at the Corvallis IOOF Pioneer Cemetery, 434 NW Witham Hill Drive. Registration is required. Contact Kuri Gill for more information,503-986-0685
Cemetery Commission meeting October 17 & 18
OCHC will meet in Salem. October 17 will be a tour of Salem Pioneer Cemetery. October 18 will be a joint commission meeting in the morning (8:30-11:40) and a regular business meeting in the afternoon (1:00-3:15). Contact Kuri Gill at Kuri.Gill@oregon.gov or (503) 986-0685 for information.
