    July 18 Cemetery Activities in Florence
    Join us at the Siuslaw Pioneer Museum, 278 Maple Street, for the regular meeting of the Oregon Commission on Historic Cemeteries at 2:00 pm. See agenda for details and remote access information. Then at 6:00pm Charlotte Lehan, of Wilsonville, and Bev Power, of Medford, both commissioners with OCHC, will present “Adventures in Mapping Historic Cemeteries.” They will present interesting challenges, surprise discoveries and other issues in mapping and documenting historic cemeteries.

Report on metal craft in Salem Pioneer Cemetery

The Oregon Commission on Historic Cemeteries funded a a condition report and plan for the care and maintenance of metal craft in Salem Pioneer Cemetery. The report is an excellent model for documentation and treatment of historic metal fencing and enclosures.
