Collection Prioritization Workshop

Feeling overwhelmed with your collection? Not sure what needs to happen next? Trying to define a project for a grant proposal? Join Elizabeth Kallenbach, Anthropological Collections Manager at the Museum of Natural & Cultural History for a workshop on prioritizing collections.

This workshop will cover fundamentals of collection management responsibilities, outline priorities for approaching collections, and assist heritage organizations in identifying priorities for their collections. If your organization is overwhelmed with trying to do too much at once, this workshop will help you think through how to define specific projects and goals. This workshop includes examples from Oregon museums, hands-on activities, and you will walk away with materials to conduct a pilot project at home.
