About the Sparky Awards
Each year, the Oregon State Fire Marshal awards people for achievements with the Golden and Silver Sparky Awards.
- The Golden Sparky recognizes a fire service member or fire agency for outstanding fire prevention or public safety education achievement.
- The Silver Sparky recognizes a civilian or civilian agency for outstanding achievement in fire prevention or public safety education.
Nominations are open until May 1, 2025. Please submit your nomination form with an explanation and examples of your nominee's achievements.
