Sparky Awards

About the Sparky Awards

Each year, the Oregon State Fire Marshal awards people for achievements with the Golden and Silver Sparky Awards.

  • Golden Sparky: Recognizes a fire service member or fire agency for outstanding fire prevention or public safety education achievement.
  • Silver Sparky: Recognizes a civilian or civilian agency for outstanding achievement in fire prevention or public safety education.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2026 Golden and Silver Sparky Awards. Please submit nominations here.
