Oregon Fire Code Errata 2025 Edition

Updated February 2026

The following are errata for the published 2025 Oregon Fire Code (OFC).

OSFM issues errata when there is a mistake in the printing, or when a referenced section needs to be corrected in alignment with another section or code.

Changes are denoted as follows:

Blue/underline: added language to printed 2025 OFC

Red/strikethrough: deleted language from printed 2025 OFC

Green: notes

ORS 480.111 is not a part of this code but is reprinted or paraphrased here for the reader's convenience:

  • This important 2025 amendment, which was unintentionally omitted, is a companion to the Chapter 80 Reference Standards entry for NFPA 70B—23: “Standard for Electrical Equipment Maintenance": 1205.5.3 which was printed correctly. This addition should be positioned below the existing User Note.

Chapter 41 TEMPORARY HEATING AND COOKING OPERATIONS
