How to Request "Public Records" from the State Library
Oregon laws require that all records of public agencies be available, upon request, to any member of the public unless the information is specifically exempt from such disclosure. As a state agency, the State Library is committed to transparency in government and will adhere to this mandate to ensure that all public information not specifically exempt by statute is released upon request.

OSL responds to requests for public records in the way described in its Public Records Request policy (pdf).

The policy outlines the fees the State Library charges for records and the process the library uses to fulfill requests.
