Neighborhood Ground Water Network
Ground Water Level Measurement Online Database
You may submit your ground water level measurements to Oregon Water Resources Department (OWRD) using the online database if:

  • You have attended a Neighborhood Ground Water Network Workshop (or have obtained specific permission from OWRD).

  • You have collected accurate ground water level measurements in your well using an approved electric water level meter.

  • Your well has a Well Identification Tag in accordance with OWRD specifications. If not, please visit the Well Identification Program for instructions on obtaining a tag for your well.

  • You have a correct latitude and longitude (in decimal degrees) for your well location using either a handheld GPS unit or Google Earth. Please see this document for directions on how to use Google Earth to obtain a latitude and longitude of your well location.

  • You have a correct taxlot number for the property where the well is located. You may be able to find this information on The Oregon Map or with your County Assessor Office.

  • If you do not own the well(s) for which you are submitting ground water level information, you have obtained permission from the landowner.

By entering the OWRD Ground Water Level Measurement online database, you agree that you have met all of the above requirements.
