Water Conservation

We can all do our part to lessen the effects of limited water supplies this summer. We can start by conserving the water we use today. Check out the links below for information on how you can save water.

     •  Residential Water Users
     •  Municipal Water Users
     •  Agricultural Water Users
     •  Commercial/Industrial Water Users
Check out the factsheets below for information on how you can save water or visit your city's website for more information.  Many cities provide water conservation tips and some offer incentives.

Conservation Share-House
The Department has designed this electronic warehouse in order for water suppliers to be able to elect to “share” their conservation and outreach materials with their municipal counterparts around the state of Oregon. The hope is that this conservation “share-house” will become a useful resource full of good ideas and examples that cities can readily access, customize to fit their own needs, and eventually implement to achieve real water savings in their own community.
