The Oregon Racing Commission is accepting applications from qualified applicants interested in operating the statewide simulcast network. Applications will be accepted through March 15, 2019. Applicants submitting properly completed applications will present their proposals to the Oregon Racing Commission in public session at the March 21, 2019 ORC meeting. The successful applicant will have experience operating and growing simulcast activity at brick-and-mortar outlets. Demonstrated ability to effectively market pari-mutuel wagering activity for the benefit of the racing industry will be a primary criterion for selection. A single licensee will be awarded the exclusive right to conduct simulcast wagering in the state during the term of the license under the auspices of the Oregon Racing Commission. The ORC Supervisor of Mutuels and Chief Investigator/Licensing Director will have offices within the main Portland OTB facility. The licensee shall comply with the provisions of ORS 462.010 et seq. and OAR 462-001-0000 et seq. In addition, the licensee shall comply with 15 USC Ch.57: Interstate Horseracing Act. The commission and stakeholders will assist the licensee in a joint effort to site a facility in Portland to capture the existing market and expand wagering activity currently authorized and taking place at Portland Meadows racetrack.

Do you need a new license? Or do you need to renew your expired license? Do you need information regarding payment options? Find answers to these questions here.
