Incentive Programs

Business Oregon incentive programs include a variety of tax abatements, forgivable loans, and financing for businesses that aid in their ability to expand production, create jobs, and build regional capacity for future growth.

Program Description

Global Trade

Business Oregon's Global Trade team attracts inbound investment and helps Oregon businesses access global markets to enhance Oregon's position in the global economy. In cooperation with state, local and federal partners, Business Oregon helps small and medium-sized Oregon companies become exporters and existing exporter’s access new markets.

​The Oregon Trade Promotion Program offers matching grants to small businesses to begin exporting goods into global markets, or expand sales in new markets. Business Oregon innovation and entrepreneurial support programs leverage state resources and invest in entrepreneurs as they turn their cutting-edge research into new companies. ​The Oregon Innovation Council (Oregon InC) oversees investments in Signature Research Centers and unique initiatives that advance new or emerging technology-based industries where Oregon holds unique competitive advantages; and federal SBIR grant and matching grant programs for small businesses to conduct research and development (R&D) with commercialization potential.
