Vendor contracting and procurement

VR is subject to established ODHS contract and procurement processes and limitations. Some services and supplies must be obtained through contractual relationships while others may be obtained outside a formally negotiated contract.

Internships

VR welcomes student interns from Rehabilitation Counseling and related training programs. The focus of these internships is to help Oregonians with disabilities find or maintain employment in their communities.

Job placement services 

VR contracts with providers who are qualified to provide employment support services to VR participants.

Youth services

VR contracts with providers to provide pre-employment services and support to youth age 14 to 24 who are getting ready to work. Programs include the Youth Transition Program (YTP) and Summer Work Experiences.

Work Incentives Network (WIN)

WIN is administered by the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) Vocational Rehabilitation program. We provide training and technical assistance to contractors and providers.
