Oregon
state government wants to ensure it stays open to conduct the citizens' business. Occasionally, though, bad weather or other conditions force the state to close offices. State employees and citizens alike may use this website to obtain information about the closure of state offices in Oregon.

Furlough
Closures

Most Agencies to Close on May 24, 2013
Due to state budget reductions, most state offices will close on Friday, May 24, 2013, and the affected employees must take mandatory unpaid furloughs on that day. These same offices will re-open on Tuesday, May 28, following the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 27.

State agencies observe the following state holidays and will close on these dates in 2013:

     New Year's Day - Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013
Martin Luther King Jr. Day - Monday, Jan. 21, 2013
Presidents' Day - Monday, Feb. 18, 2013
Memorial Day - Monday, May 27, 2013
Independence Day - Thursday, July 4, 2013
Labor Day - Monday, Sept. 2, 2013
Veterans Day - Monday, Nov. 11, 2013
Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013
