| Military Veterans' Appreciation Days |

The Oregon State Fair is once again recognizing servicemembers and veterans. Veterans' Appreciation Days is slated for Friday August 28 and Saturday August 29. The Fair in Salem runs through Sept. 7 and features free parking for all eleven days.
The Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs (ODVA) will staff a booth to meet and greet veterans attending the Fair. The Fair will honor Oregon’s military servicemembers and veterans with free admission on Veterans’ Appreciation Days. Simply provide a copy of the 2009 Veterans Voucher at the gate for admission.
Big-name concerts will stage entertainers sure to light up the stars in the capital city of Oregon. Big stars include Everclear, Blake Shelton, The Doobie Brothers, Disney Under the Stars, Rodney Atkins, Katy Perry, David Cook, Peter Cetera with The Oregon Symphony and Reba McEntire. Concerts are held at the L.B. Day outdoor Amphitheatre and the Indoor Pavilion.

Discounts are available for those who purchase tickets in advance.
