LEGISLATIVE TASK FORCE ON VETERANS' REINTEGRATION
Responding to recommendations from the Governor’s Task Force on Veterans’ Services, the Oregon Legislature created a Veterans’ Reintegration Task Force to further examine reintegration issues and services and provide new recommendations to the 2011 Legislature.
On October 1, 2010 the Task Force completed it's work and submitted a Final Report to the Legislature. Click here to read the Final Report.
The Veterans’ Reintegration Task Force consists of the following members:
- Mike Burton – Co-Chair, Portland State University
- State Senator Martha Schrader – Co-Chair
- State Representative Greg Matthews
- Ted Swigert – Department of Human Services
- BG Mike Caldwell – Oregon Military Department
- Pegge McGuire – Oregon Community Housing and Development
- Krissa Caldwell – Oregon Community Colleges
- Jim Willis – Director, Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs
