Donate
Have you ever wondered how you could give back to those who gave so much? Donating your time or money to the Oregon Veterans’ Home is a great way to start.
Your financial donation to the Home goes towards activities and items that make life more enjoyable for the residents, including: field trips, exercise equipment, refreshments for outings, transportation, medical equipment and supplies, benches, patios, plants, and magazine subscriptions. Donations are also used to assist in the cost of care for those with temporary financial difficulties.
For a list of what you can donate, check out our donation "Wish List" here.
A 9,300 square-foot multi-purpose room will be opened adjacent to the Home in May 2011. A guest house is also being planned. Both of these projects will have a positive impact on the lives of residents. Donations may also be applied to these projects to assist with construction costs.

Charitable Check-off
Another way to give to the Veterans’ Home is to donate part of your tax refund. As part of the Oregon Department of Revenue’s tax laws, you can donate a portion or all of your Oregon tax refund to the Oregon Veterans’ Home.
It is easy to do. Simply enter your donation into the line on the form labeled “Oregon Veterans’ Home” (Long form, line 62 and Short form, line 32). The Oregon Department of Revenue will do the rest. If you have a tax professional fill-out your forms, simply ask them to add the desired amount to the Oregon Veterans’ Home Charitable Check-off campaign.
Volunteer
Our residents love the volunteers who come to the Home. Whether you are interested in spending a little time getting to know a resident or are interested in lending your expertise, talent or time, we welcome you. Please call 1-800-846-8460, ext. 242 for more information.
