Federally chartered national Veteran Service Officers (VSOs) are recognized or approved by the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Secretary for purposes of preparation, presentation, and prosecution of claims under laws administered by the VA. For more information, call VA: 1-800-827-1000.
There are two types of VSOs: the local post or chapter VSOs who are part-time volunteers, and the full-time professional VSO.
Inclusion of an organization in the directory does not constitute approval or endorsement by VA, the U.S. Government or by ODVA and the State of Oregon of the organization or its activities.
