January 2010 ATV Grant Meeting
OPRD ATV Logo Important changes to schedule and submittal process
The January 2010 ATV Grant meeting has been canceled. ATV Grants submitted for the January ATV Grant meeting will still be due in Salem by 5pm November 20th, 2009, but they will be reviewed at the April 2010 ATV Grant meeting.

When submitting your ATV Grant, send one hardcopy to the Salem OPRD headquarters, and send one copy with all the files electronically to the ATV Grant Program Field Representative in your area.

Recent changes in ATV law require OPRD to change some of our administrative rules with regard to ATV grants and ATV Safety Education.

ATV Safety Training class
Did you know you could take a class that teaches you how to ride an ATV or Dirt Bike? Did you also know that OPRD pays 60% of those training classes for youth 15 and under?

Anyone operating their Class I, II, or III ATV on public lands needs to have an ATV Permit. Below are links for information about what they are and where to buy them, the different classes of ATVs, rider operating requirements, and reciprocity.
