Title & Registration

Three Options to Register your Boat

  • Online using the Marine Board's store, which is the fastest way to renew. A temporary permit can be printed so the boat can be used right away. Decals are mailed in 7-10 business days.
  • Paying at a Boat Registration Agent (See list and interactive map below). The agent (may charge a processing fee) will issue a temporary permit so the boat can be used right away.  It may take 4-6 weeks to receive the decals from the Marine Board in the mail.
  • Mailing through US Mail. A boat registration renewal coupon is sent to the registered owner every two years near the registration expiration date.  Mail back the coupon with the registration fee with the amount indicated.  It may take 4-6 weeks to receive the decals from the Marine Board in the mail.
