You MAY NOT report to work in an SLPA position without a valid license. This includes training, orientation, job preparation, etc. To do so constitutes unlicensed practice under ORS 681.250 and is subject to disciplinary action by the Board. It is an applicant’s responsibility to follow-up on any application for licensure.
The 100 hours of clinical practicum/fieldwork must be conducted as part of a formal
academic SLPA program or the person must obtain a Provisional SLPA license and then complete the 100 hours.
